Night Clerk
Newest hire on the night shift. Owns one mop, zero regrets, and a growing fear of the freezer.
“Clean up on aisle… oh no.”
Welcome to Fresh Mart, home of the night shift. These are the Employee Files straight out of the game, with the same faces and the same bad attitudes.
No files match. Maybe they are locked.

Night Clerk
Newest hire on the night shift. Owns one mop, zero regrets, and a growing fear of the freezer.
“Clean up on aisle… oh no.”

The Coach
Has worked nights at Fresh Mart since before the lights flickered. Leaves sticky notes everywhere. Knows things. Won't say how.
“Forty years on the night shift, kid. Still got all ten fingers.”

Manager
Monday's manager. Loves rules, clipboards and plain yogurt. Has never once smiled on purpose.
“I can smell a missed spill from my office.”

Manager
Assistant manager. Uses at least three exclamation marks per sentence. Wants to speak to YOUR manager.
“This is UNACCEPTABLE!!!”

Manager
Runs the store like boot camp. Once did a push-up so hard the freezer door shut by itself.
“DROP AND GIVE ME TWENTY MOPS!”

Manager (cat)
Technically the store manager. Nobody remembers hiring him. Signs every memo with a paw print. Secret admirer. Allegedly.
“…mrrrp?”

Fresh Mart mascot
The grinning shopping cart from the logo. Rolls around the store on his own. One wheel squeaks. Nobody pushes him.
“*squeak squeak*”

Night janitor, 1987
Left his mop behind in 1987 and came back for it. Gives cleaning tips. None of them work.
“Pro tip: if you can't see the stain, it can't see you.”

The PA (sarcastic)
The ceiling speakers. Has heard every announcement ten thousand times. Is not impressed by any of them.
“Wow. Another spill. Riveting.”

The pet-aisle parrot
Repeats everything the PA says. Everything. At 3 AM. Loudly.
“CLEAN UP ON AISLE SCREAM! SQUAWK!”

Customers
Shopping at 2 AM for reasons. Leave messes. Shout THIEF when they see burglars, which is honestly helpful.
“Mmhmm… hmm?”

Customers (lost)
Honk in the lot, tip the trash, and ask you for directions you definitely don't know.
“Which way to Spooksville?”

Cats & dogs
They wandered in and never left. Pet them for a power-up. Spook them and the whole store hears.
“WOOF! WOOF!”

Big. Quiet. Cleaver.
Comes out of the freezer from Thursday on. Hot sauce does nothing. Hiding does.
“…fresh… cuts…”

Kevin & the gang
They break in for snacks. Only snacks. They have a plan and the plan is snacks.
“Cheez Puffs! Get the Cheez Puffs!”

…prefers not to say
Sneaks. Listens. Shines a flashlight in your hiding spot. Talks in dots...
“...is someone there?”

Training dummy
Old Gary's practice burglar. Has never moved. Has never needed to.
“…”

Zombie Mode
Shamblers, runners, zombie pets and one Zombie Butcher in a party hat. Endless. Hungry.
“…braaains…”

Halloween Night
Small, sticky, and very serious about candy. Don't let the bowl run empty.
“Trick or treat!”

Halloween Night
Little ghosts who knock things over. Vacuum them up. They think it's a ride.
“wooOOoo…”

Christmas Eve visitor
Shows up on December 24 with no sleigh and no reindeer. Bring them back and he'll owe you one.
“Ho… ho… hmm. Has anyone seen my reindeer?”

October 31 only
A very good manager who has misplaced his head. It's a glowing pumpkin. It's somewhere in the store.
“Has anyone seen my head?”

Thanksgiving Day visitor
Four hundred years late for dinner and very polite about it. Bring him a pie.
“Has the feast begun? I was told there'd be pie.”

A friendly turkey (Thanksgiving Day)
Nervous. Wears a bow tie. Would very much like to see Friday. Keep him hidden.
“Gobble?”

December 31 visitor
Shuffles in every December 31 wearing a sash with the old year on it. Wants a party hat and a cider before he hands over.
“Is it over yet? It feels like it's been a year.”

December 31 visitor
A showbiz host in a sparkly jacket who lost his lucky microphone. Listen for the feedback.
“TEN! NINE! …has anyone seen my microphone?”

February 14 visitor
Thirty thousand years of archery and a bad back. Find his bow and he'll fire one last shot for you.
“Oof, my back. Has anyone seen my bow?”

Easter Sunday visitor
Very large, very tired, dropped three golden eggs somewhere in the store. Please say no to next year.
“So… tired.”

A lost chick (Easter Sunday)
Follows you everywhere. Panics at everything. Keep it safe till morning.
“Peep!”

Christmas Eve
They pop out of the gift boxes and run. Every one that escapes goes on the naughty list.
“Hee hee hee!”

Christmas Eve
A snowman who only moves when you aren't watching. Melts at the furnace. Hates it.
“…”

Christmas Eve, midnight
Huge, hairy, and angrier for every naughty elf that got away. Calms down with a present.
“Who's been NAUGHTY?”

Thanksgiving
A giant runaway turkey. Charges straight down an aisle. Hide, or throw cranberry sauce.
“GOBBLE GOBBLE GOBBLE!”

Thanksgiving, 3:00 AM
Pajamas, parkas and one man with a folding chair. Hold the doors till 6:00 AM.
“DEALS! DEALS! DEALS!”

New Year's Eve
A grandfather clock with a grin behind the glass. Every loop it walks a little faster. Twelve golden hands break it.
“*TICK… TOCK…*”

Valentine's, midnight
Drifts out of the flower aisle at midnight. Checks every hiding spot. The ring she lost is somewhere in the store.
“Where… is… he?”

Easter
Six feet of chocolate with nothing inside. Grins. Moves only when the lights blink. Melts at the furnace.
“…”
